Essential to this mission is recruiting, training, and retaining passionate providers who we then match to the communities we serve.

Our history

Vintech Management Services was founded in 1999 to provide services with paid supplemental ALS and BLS EMS staffing during time periods when no volunteers were available. Supporting volunteerism has always been and continues to be at the heart of what we do. We were the first and continue to be the largest EMS staffing company in the Northeast. We have become a trusted consulting resource for the services we serve and have a track record of helping to solve complex system problems. The services we work with value the support our management staff is able to provide In terms of compliance and risk management.

What do we do today?

We currently provide EMS staffing to 19 services in the State of CT and employ over 250 paramedics and EMTs. Many of our client relationships exceed 15 years in length. We are proud of the fact that our roster is comprised of a diverse group of prehospital providers with experience in nursing, law enforcement, respiratory therapy, critical care, firefighting, and In the military. A high percentage of our staff is currently enrolled or pursuing advancement In the healthcare field as physicians, nurses, physician associates, and other healthcare specialties.

Where are we going?

When we look Into our EMS crystal ball we recognize that the future of local ems is community paramedicine. EMS should be able to offer individualized solutions that best fit the needs of the local population. We are looking forward to the State of Connecticut approving community paramedicine programs in the not too distant future and are prepared to help our clients develop and deploy programs.

In 2021 we founded our EMS Academy to better prepare the next generation of EMS providers for working a career in healthcare. Our EMT recruit class not only covers the skills and knowledge needed to pass the test but includes a 100 hour highly structured field Internship program.

We are proud of the work that our employee-run safety and wellness committee has done and continues to do to make working for Vintech as safe as possible. They work hard to produce monthly safety posters or videos that inform our staff on what they need to be doing to keep themselves and their patients safe.
